Decision: MPL British Columbia Distributors Inc. v. British Columbia Vegetable Marketing Commission
Appeal of BCVMC’s decision to deny MPL’s request for an extension of the deadline for greenhouse vegetable producers to transfer agencies. MPL argued the denial effectively rejected their application for a Class 1 Agency designation for the 2021 growing season. The decision was related to the BCVMC’s grower transfer policy.
